About Waikiki Wahine

Our tribe started as a casual pau hana (happy hour) for a group of Wahine who worked together in Waikiki. The gathering was meant to help us be more accountable in maintaining and celebrating our friendships, in honoring our successes in work and in life, and in creating stronger community.

It didn’t take many cocktails to realize there was something special about the group, and what it represented. The gathering quickly picked up steam among friends and colleagues. Today, Waikiki Wahine meets quarterly - and welcomes anyone who wants to empower women to feel empowered.

A portion of sales from each Waikiki Wahine event go to the Women’s Fund of Hawaii. Because, we believe that empowered women empower women.
